The San Diego Met Auditions are made possible by your donations to

the San Diego District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council (MONC). Although The Met provides many resources for MONC Districts and Regions, it does not provide any financial assistance. All District monies need to be raised at the local level.

Your contributions can help pay for such things as— 

• Monetary awards given to support our finalists as they advance to the Western Regional competition
• Transportation, hotel and meals for the judges
• Publicity, postage and printing
• Accompanist fees

San Diego District co-directors, the committee, the judges, and all volunteers receive no compensation for the many hours of hard work they do. 

• Those contributing $1,000 or more will receive a complimentary invitation for two to our Gala Dinner with the Judges.
• Those contributing $500-$999 will receive a complimentary invitation for one to our Gala Dinner with the Judges.
• Contributions of any amount are welcome. Your contribution of $100 or more will be acknowledged in our Auditions program.
